About Me

Josh Smart

Event Technology Specialist

Niina marni. I proudly live, work and study on the ancestral lands of the Kaurna people, Tarntanya, Kaurna Yarta. The Kaurna people are the traditional custodians of the Adelaide region and I respect their spiritual beliefs and relationship with the land, which remains as important to the living Kaurna people today.

I am an entrepreneur and professional in the event management and technology sectors, with a keen focus on innovation and sustainability. As owner of Smart Event Management, I specialise in a wide array of services including the organisation of live events, provision of audio visual equipment rental and sales, system installation, live streaming, and event technology solutions. My business represents my dedication to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge services that meet the dynamic needs of the industry.

In addition to my business ventures, I am actively involved in community service, holding roles in organisations such as St John SA and Big Sing McLaren Vale. These volunteer positions enable me to leverage my professional skills for community enrichment and development. Concurrently, I am enhancing my academic and professional credentials by pursuing an MBA at the University of South Australia. This academic pursuit is a testament to my commitment to continuous learning and leadership development in my field.
